Felt quite bored and wanted to write something interesting.... As usual, found hard to fish for a topic to write... Suddenly a flash! I wanted to really write this one long time ago.... Because its a fascinating story to tell, never had the time before. When I was in Seychelles, I kept hearing about this particular pirate named La Buse and his yet unfound treasure worth almost 100 to 200 million pounds... After seeing and falling in love with all the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, I really gathered as much of information as possible about this famous pirate.Ever since, there's been a lot of trial in excavating this treasure. But no success yet. In 1920, a lady called Mrs. Savoy, found a few documents and coordinates and a text with mysterious alphabets, which made her excavate in Bel Ombre beach in Mahe. She found stone carvings with dogs, horses, tortoises and a figure of a young lady and Head of a man. She also found two coffins with dead bodies, who were identified to be pirates, by the gold ring they wore. But no treasure in this location too....
Finally in 1947, an Englishman Reginald Cruise Wilkinson, a friend of Mrs. Savoy, started deciphering and found out that 12 labours of Hercules has to be strictly undertaken in order
A traditional order of the labors found in Apollodorus is:
1.Slay the Nemean Lion and bring back its hide
2.Slay the 9-headed Lernaean Hydra
3.Capture the Golden Stag of Artemis
4.Capture the Erymanthian Boar
5.Clean the Augean stables in a single day
6.Slay the Stymphalian Birds
7.Capture the Cretan Bull
8.Steal the Mares of Diomedes
9.Obtain the Girdle of the Amazon warrior queen Hippolyte
10.Obtain the Cattle of the Monster Geryon
11.Steal the Apples of the Hesperides, which were hidden by the Titan Atlas
12.Capture Cerberus, the guardian dog of Hades, using no weapons and bring him back.
Then following these, he found out that the treasure chamber is somewhere underground and must be approached carefully, to avoid being flooded with water. It is protected by the tides, which require damming to hold them back, and is to be approached from the north. Access is through a stairwell cut into the rocks, and tunnels leading under the beach.
Until 1970 he sought and dug in the island of Mahe.In a cave, except for old guns, some coins, and pirate sarcophagi, he did not find anything. He died in 1977 before he broke the last piece of code. And the mystery of La Buse treasure is left unsolved...
Now, there a few tit bits...
1. The grandson of this English man is a Doctor in Seychelles and I don't know if he seriously has this passion in him. Never had the opportunity to meet him...
2. There are no snakes in Seychelles... No poisonous ones at least. But used to very dangerous to go into waters because of the alligators. But The pirates, killed all the alligators and so the only place you will find some, would be in the National Museum in Mahe.
3. But there are tortoises as old as 120-130 in Seychelles. So My opinion is, Kindly mark it in your dream list to visit at least once in a lifetime.
See ya'll, with a much more interesting story soon....
